HOW IT STARTED

I fell in love with line dancing.

And I wanted to share that feeling with other people.

I started sharing dances, nights out, and little pieces of the line dance community because I wanted people to see how much fun it can be to just get out there and get on the dance floor.

You don't have to know every dance. You don't have to be the best person in the room. Sometimes you just have to take that first step onto the floor.

I've met some of my favorite people through dancing, made memories in places I never expected, and found a community that has completely changed the way I spend my nights — and a lot of my weekends.

CHASING DANCE FLOORS

Then dancing gave me another reason to travel.

I've always loved traveling and experiencing new places, and line dancing gave me a whole new way to do it.

Now, one of my favorite parts of traveling is finding the local dance floor. From honky-tonks and dance halls to little spots I never would have found otherwise, I love seeing how the dance community changes from place to place.

Along the way, I share the places I dance, what the experience is actually like, and the spots I think are worth adding to your own travels.

BOOT SCOOTIN' AROUND

Finding dance floors one city at a time.

That's what inspired Boot Scootin' Around — my way of keeping track of the places I've danced and helping other dancers find somewhere to go when they're traveling too.

My interactive line dance map brings those places together so you can explore dance halls, honky-tonks, and other spots I've visited, along with my reviews as I make my way to more floors around the country.
